Afterkelas was founded by Mifzal Salihin, a high-achieving student who earned 9A+ in SPM, achieved a perfect 4.00 CGPA in the Foundation in Life Sciences, and graduated from Universiti Malaya with First Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering. He was also awarded the prestigious Professor Gray Gold Medal and named Tokoh Siswa Kebangsaan 2022, before pursuing an MSc in Sustainable Energy Futures at Imperial College London.

Afterkelas is a Malaysian online tutoring platform, founded in 2020, that connects students with top-performing university tutors for live online classes. We tutor every level from primary school to university, across any curriculum: national school (KSSR, KSSM, SPM, STPM, Matriculation), international (IGCSE, A-Level, IB) and degree-level courses.
We cover Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Bahasa Malaysia, History, Geography, Accounting, Economics and Business Studies, and can arrange tutors for other subjects on request. Levels span Primary, Secondary, Pre-University and University.
All of the major ones. Tutors teach the Malaysian national curriculum (KSSR and KSSM, including SPM, STPM, Matriculation and Foundation), international curricula such as IGCSE, A-Level and IB, and university-level subjects. Lessons follow the exact syllabus your school or programme uses.
Both. Afterkelas tutors teach in English (including DLP and international-school classes) and in Bahasa Melayu, and you can choose the medium that matches how your school teaches the subject.
Afterkelas tutors are university students and graduates who scored top grades in their own exams, screened before they teach. Many are reading Mathematics, Engineering, Actuarial Science and related degrees at Malaysian universities.
Three formats: personalised 1-on-1 online tutoring matched to a single student, the Open Online Classroom for small group cohorts working through the same syllabus, and Intensive Online Workshops that target tough exam topics, usually during school holidays.
All classes run live online, so students join from home with a laptop or tablet and an internet connection. Lessons follow the student's own school syllabus with tutor-prepared materials and exercises, and parents get visibility of how their child is progressing.

Yes. Exam preparation is a core strength: tutors drill past-paper question patterns, exam techniques and time management alongside the syllabus, whether the target is SPM, IGCSE, A-Level, IB or a university paper.
